Was born in Calw near Stuttgart, Germany, in 1979; began playing the guitar at age 14. He studied jazz at the Luiz Villas-Boas Jazz School of the Hot Clube de Portugal in Lisbon and at the University of Évora. Besides being a professional musician in several projects he is a guitar teacher, graduated in jazz guitar and in classical guitar.
